Silo Cinema screenings
Head down to the historic Silo 7 before sundown to catch a film projected onto the giant silos in a picturesque outdoor setting on our waterfront. This is a free, fun and open-air film event for families and friends of all ages, held in Auckland’s prime seaside spot!

Sail GP
Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 January 2025
The City of Sails’ long-awaited SailGP debut promises high-octane racing action in front of some of the world's most passionate fans.
With the perfectly positioned Waitematā Harbour racecourse just minutes from downtown Auckland, more than 10,000 fans are expected to join the choir of cheers.

Te Ara Tukutuku workshops
Over the summer, we'll be holding some workshops in Wynyard Quarter, where you'll be able to ask questions and learn more about the transformative plans for Wynyard Point.
Over the next 10 to 15 years, the northern end of Wynyard Point will be transformed from industrial to inspirational as part of Te Ara Tukutuku Plan. Lean more here.
