Mount Edward Winemakers x Williams Eatery Dinner
It's an absolute pleasure to announce our next winemaker's dinner with the very talented folk at Mount Edward Winery from Central Otago.
The evening will be guided by Mount Edward winemaker Duncan Forsyth, kicking off on 19 February at 6.30pm with a "Mt Ed" cocktail on arrival followed by a 4-course, wine matched dinner.
Mount Edward are one of the favourite vineyards in the country and for good reason. They believe that the less they do to a wine the better the result. The aim is no fining, filtration, aids, additives or intervention. Their philosophy reflects a traditional and holistic wine growing ethos producing wines of provenance and pleasure alike. The vineyards are also managed using Bio Gro certified organic practices. It means there is a big focus on healthy soils and fruit, which leads to wine that truly reflects the vineyard and the winemaker.
The wine will be matched in the kitchen by our head chef Euan Fraser and his team. We love to showcase our country's incredible produce, serving it with big flavour and simplicity on the plate.
