Here’s your opportunity to learn Tai Ji (Tai Chi) from a senior instructor, Robert Hunter, while overlooking the beautiful Waitemata Harbour.
Tai Ji Class Schedule:
Introductory classes on the 4th of August, September 1st and November 3rd. These classes are a great way to get familiar with Tai Chi.
There are classes every Tuesdays and Thursdays – 7.00am - 8.00am on the Viaduct Event Centre balcony, Wynyard Quarter.
A suggested donation of $10.
Physical health benefits of Tai ji include freeing up the internal pathways of the body; the internal organs are massaged by the gentle movements and the blood and tendons are strengthened.
Psychologically Tai ji pacifies the emotions and calms the mind. This is initially achieved by concentrating awareness on sensing and relaxing the body.
