Check out the latest hot spot on Daldy Street
Nestled between the Daldy Street piano and flourishing Daldy Street Community Garden, sits the latest addition to the Wynyard Quarter community, Wander Eco Café. This new pop up café is not your average dining spot as everything is 100% reusable.
Taryn Shirkey, owner and creator of Wander Eco Café, wants to change the way people think in terms of sustainability. Whether that comes down to doing as little as not drinking cow’s milk, to making sure all of her food and packaging is authentic to their name, by being fully compostable.
All of the food is made with love and care by Taryn and her fellow co-workers Sophie and Glen. From the freshest brewed coffees to wraps, salads and raw treats, there’s something to tickle everyone’s taste buds.
Taryn plans on making the most of the strong community in Wynyard Quarter and encourages everyone to get involved with the Daldy Street Community Garden which the café utilises as part of their produce.
If you’re roaming the Quarter looking for a friendly chat and a delicious bite to eat then go and check out Wander Eco Café.
